I love my job because… I have the chance to make a difference in the lives of those I meet. If I were ableto make one difference in a person’s life, it would be to provide them the opportunity to live a quality life without foot conditions holding them back.
What inspires you to get up everyday? Knowing that I can make a positive difference in people’s lives. I aim to make each of my patients feel like they receive a personalised service at all times and together we can address their foot care needs.
When I’m not at Podiatry Point, you will find me… spending quality time with my family and close friends. I love to have fun! Travel and faith are the next two important aspects of my life. I enjoy travel and cycling and would love to combine the two. I actively live out my faith through ministry opportunities.
What is your career highlight? Working in the high risk diabetes clinic at The Princess Alexandra Hospital was an exciting, invaluable learning curve for my professional career.
My main passion within Podiatry is… facing the challenges of treating foot conditions with new treatment modalities such as nail bracing and dry needling as I continue to expand my skills and knowledge. I want to have a positive impact on assisting people with high-risk feet (e.g. from diabetes) to maintain healthy lower limbs.
My mission in life… to love and serve God and through my faith serve humanity using the gifts I’ve been given and the skills I’ve developed.
So what’s next, where do you see yourself in the future? Personally – I’m looking to a future spending time with my family. Professionally – to continuing my career at Podiatry Point Brisbane and always delivering the very best treatment and service to my patients.
